Orchard Acre Farm

Ochard Acre Farm is one of the first Eco Eourism destinations in Ireland. Located in County Fermanagh in North West Ireland, the farm offers extensive instruction in Eco Tourism, sustainable living and healthy lifestyles.

Accommodation

Orchard Acre Farm has 18-foot tipis that sleep up to 4 people. Think sleeping in a tipi is roughing it? Think again. These tipis provide comfortable living and come equipped with futon beds, bedding, rugs, cushions, and a wood brassier. There is even a gas stove with pots, pans, and kitchenware for guests to cook their own food. Healthy, organic meals and produce are also available at the farm.

Tipi prices begin at £260 for 2 nights – see website for details.

Courses and Workshops

The Farm offers various courses and workshops throughout the year. Classes include Irish willow weaving, organic growing, gardening, vegetarian cooking, jewellery, craft making, tree shrub and hedgerow planting, herb growing, pond creation, plant and species identification, and healthy cooking.

Extensive training is also provided for Eco Tourism, including green building design, waste management, renewable energy, and more. Contact Orchard Acre Farm directly for more information about options.

Volunteering

Orchard Acre Farm is experienced in hosting volunteers who work on the farm in exchange for their board and lodging. Volunteers come from all over the world to help out on the farm, and take home lasting memories of their stay. Do more on your next trip to Ireland...volunteer!
