The Barn is a hostel and campsite located in Westray, Scotland. The most westerly of the nothern islands of Orkney, Westray is a beautiful, small island whose cows far outnumber its residents. The hostel is in Pierowall and is only a short walk to the post office, shops, and other amenities.

The Hostel

The Barn been providing quality hostel accommodation, camping, and caravan facilities since 2000. Beds are £13 (£19.50 for children) and private rooms start at £30. For £130 you can reserve the whole hostel. All prices include sheets, duvet, towels, showers, heating, tea/coffee, and use of guest kitchen.

Facilities at the hostel include shower, guest kitchen, washing machine, drying area, iron & ironing board, toilets, lounge with TV/DVD/stereo, and bicycle hire.
